Senior PTI Leader Claims Efforts Underway to Send Imran Khan to UK

ISLAMABAD: Efforts are reportedly underway to facilitate the transfer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to the United Kingdom, with former wife Jemima Goldsmith, his sons and the British government allegedly being considered as guarantors that he would refrain from making political statements, according to a claim cited by Dawn.

A senior PTI leader claimed that attempts were being made to secure assurances from Jemima Goldsmith, Imran Khan’s sons and the British government that Khan would not issue political statements if he were sent to the UK.

However, according to the claim, Imran Khan has not shown any willingness to accept the proposal.

The development comes amid continued political and legal controversy surrounding the former prime minister, who remains in prison.

The claim has raised questions about whether Imran Khan’s possible transfer abroad is being considered as part of a broader political arrangement.

No independent confirmation of the reported efforts or any formal proposal for Imran Khan’s transfer to the UK has been provided in the information cited.
