Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Peshawar and is chairing a high-level meeting at the Governor House to review the province’s political situation and recent developments.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar accompanied the prime minister.
The meeting is being attended by Mohsin Naqvi, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Attaullah Tarar, Amir Muqam, Rana Sanaullah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, the chief secretary, the inspector general of police and the Peshawar corps commander.
According to sources, the prime minister is also expected to announce a special package for the families of martyrs who lost their lives in the fight against terrorism.
