FC Busts Major Human Smuggling Ring in Balochistan, Detains 129 Undocumented Afghan Nationals

ZHOB ; Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan has dismantled an organized human smuggling network operating near the Danasar Joint Check Post in the Zhob sector, apprehending a total of 129 undocumented Afghan nationals attempting illegal border crossings.

Acting on credible intelligence regarding illicit transport networks bypassing official checkpoints, FC personnel deployed enhanced tracking and monitoring mechanisms along unpaved regional tracks.

The primary intercept occurred on September 22, when security forces stopped a group of 103 individuals—comprising 72 men, 11 women, and 20 children—traveling along unauthorized bypass routes. Subsequent related operations brought the total number of intercepted individuals linked to the network to 129.

Security officials confirmed that all apprehended individuals have been taken into custody for formal legal and administrative processing. Meanwhile, intelligence-based operations to track down and neutralize the remaining elements of the smuggling ring are ongoing as authorities step up surveillance across Balochistan’s vulnerable transit corridors.
