Nausheen Shah Thinks Body Modifications And Whitening Injections Are Trashy

Pakistani Fashion icon Nausheen Shah has said that she doesn’t feel positive about body modifications. Nausheen shared her two cents in the online show “To Be Honest” hosted by comedian Tabish Hashmi.

Shah, who has proved her versatility onscreen, recently appeared in the show and amused the viewers with her quick-witted answers and subtle humour. When asked to define “trashy fashion”, Shah said that body modification isn’t something she feels positively about.

“I think it’s very trashy when people aren’t confident in the colour of their skin or their features and start getting injections. I think it’s trashy,” Nausheen said.

The host also asked Nausheen Shah to give some fashion tips to different politicians. Nausheen said that she would tell Fawad Chaudhry to stop eating junk food first and eat nutritious foods. Nausheen continued to advise Firdous Ashiq Awan to do less make-up.

During the show, Nausheen Shah said that she does not like it when one artist is compared with another artist.

“I am compared to Kareena Kapoor but I don’t look like her because Kareena Kapoor has very big teeth,” Shah commented on her resemblance to Bebo.

The “To Be Honest” conversation soon took a turn towards politics when Nausheen expressed her desire to end poverty and corruption and said children begging on the roads upset her. The actress advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to keep doing what he is doing because one can’t get rid of 250 years of filth in ten days.

About the former Army Chief and President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf, Nausheen said that a judge’s remarks about hanging former President were unfair.

“Because it seems to me that General Pervez Musharraf has done a lot for this country. A man who is a former army chief, who ran your country and who got two positions is no small matter so you can’t make such a big statement about this man,” Nausheen stated.
