Pregnant Anushka Sharma performs headstand to stay fit

 

The news of Anushka Sharma being pregnant hit the headlines and brought a social storm. Anushka Sharma is enjoying her pregnancy and trying hard by taking healthy measures to spend her days in a healthy environment.
Pregnant Anushka proved to be a health icon and maintained her exercise routine. The throwback picture of her exercising routine is shared on Instagram @anushkasharma. The expecting mother is performing a headstand effortlessly with the support of her cricketer husband Virat Kohli.
Anushka Sharma is set to become a mother in 2021 January and is setting an ideal example of a fit, healthy, and young actor/model. She is the one who encourages to have a sound mind in a sound body even during her pregnancy by performing exercises with the extra support of her husband and the assistance of her doctor.

It is mentioned by Anushka that all the exercises are advised by her doctor and she had been performing these exercises before pregnancy. Her Instagram post states the caption, “As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant (after a certain stage) barring twists & extreme-forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support”.

Furthermore, she said: “For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting my balance, to be extra safe. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher Eefa Shroff who was virtually with me through this session. I’m so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy.”
She kept on writing about continuing her yoga or exercise practice which has brought positivity during the pregnancy days.
Last week, Anushka completed her pending shoots scheduled in Mumbai and said that she will continue her work after the delivery and try her best to “establish a system at home that ensures that she equally divide time amongst her child, professional life, and other activities.

PS: Do not attempt such exercise or yoga pose during pregnancy unless recommended by your doctor. It is advisable to follow your concerned doctor for particular postures and Yoga during the pregnancy because every pregnancy is different.
