10 things that you need to learn from Twinkle Khanna’s life lessons

The aspiring Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna rocked the stage of vogue women of the year awards 2017 with her wittiness when while receiving her award, she talked about the ten lessons she has learnt in the last decade of her life. The lessons and the way she talked about them were humorous, sarcastic and really deep as well. Let’s have a look on the lessons of her life which are truly lit.

  1. It’s true that we get more comfortable in our skin as we grow older, but that’s also because the poor thing is not as tight as it was used to be.
  2. We don’t need GST on our sanitary pads, what we need instead is an alarm inside it, not a vibrating one as it will set us on a different path altogether, but an alarm nonetheless that warns us of the imminent overflow and would save us from the hundred trips we make to the bathroom just to check. Now that’s the product I would not grudge the GST on.
  3. Millions of Indian women fast for their husband’s long lives every karwachauth, but I don’t think our 3333 gods are really listening. Because on the mortality charts, there are 147 countries above us where their men outlive our good old Indian dudes. So ladies stop, because it’s clearly not working.
  4. It is difficult to befriend your present if you are still quarrelling with your past.
  5. God couldn’t be everywhere so he created mothers, and the devil couldn’t be everywhere so he created mothers in law. Having said that I feel I am going to be a terrible one.
  6. The only thing free in life is bad advice, enough said.
  7. Botox unfortunately doesn’t make you look younger, it makes you look like you are part of a secret alien invasion, desperately trying to fit in with humans.
  8. Our satellite only reached mars because it was called mom. I am certain if it was called dad, it would still be circling the earth, lost, but not willing to ask for directions.
  9. Life is but a play of chance in the game of choice
  10. For centuries, women have been looking for a cape and have been handed an apron. And it’s only recently that we learnt how to swing our aprons around let it fluttered on our backs and takes us to the skies.
