PTI Has No Plans to Dissolve Provincial Assembly, Says Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that the party has no plans to dissolve the provincial assembly.

Speaking to Geo News, Barrister Gohar said there had been no consultation on finding a replacement for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

He said Sohail Afridi could not be disqualified under the circumstances and dismissed reports about finding an alternative to him as fabricated.

Barrister Gohar also rejected reports that the PTI was considering dissolving the provincial assembly, calling such reports baseless.

He further said that the party’s decision regarding the long march remains unchanged.
