ISLAMABAD: Turkish Airlines has announced special fare products for students, young travellers, teachers and academic staff, offering discounted fares, additional baggage allowances and greater flexibility in travel arrangements.
Under the Student & Youth Fares, students aged 12 to 34 can avail discounted Economy Class fares on Turkish Airlines flights, including journeys to and from Türkiye. Eligible students can receive 15% off the standard adult fare on journeys that neither start nor end in Türkiye, while a 10% discount is available on return flights to or from Türkiye.
Student fare passengers are also entitled to 40 kg of checked baggage, or two pieces of 23 kg on routes operating under the piece baggage concept, along with one free date change. A valid student document must be presented at the time of ticketing.
The Youth Fare is available to travellers aged 12 to 25 who are not students. The fare applies to journeys that neither start nor end in Türkiye. No student document is required for the Youth Fare.
Turkish Airlines has also introduced Academy Fares for teachers and academic staff working at universities, high schools, secondary schools and primary schools.
Academy Fare passengers can benefit from discounted fares in both Economy and Business Class, enhanced baggage allowances and one free date change. Economy Class passengers are entitled to 40 kg of baggage, or two pieces of 23 kg where the piece concept applies, while Business Class passengers receive 50 kg, or two pieces of 32 kg.
The airline clarified that all discounts are dynamic and are automatically applied to the applicable fare at the time of booking. No promotional code is required.
Student, Youth and Academy Fares are available through the Turkish Airlines Islamabad sales office and authorised travel agencies. Eligible passengers are required to provide the relevant student or professional documentation before ticket issuance.
Turkish Airlines said the special fares are aimed at providing the education community and young travellers with more affordable and flexible travel options.
