A specialized training seminar was organized in the district conference room for investigation officers (IOs) across the district to improve the quality of criminal investigations and ensure the timely delivery of justice.

The initiative was conducted under the directives of the Additional Sessions Judge VII and the Senior Civil Judge.

The seminar featured District Public Prosecutor (DPP) Qasim Farooq and Senior Advocate Khurshid Alam Tanoli as keynote speakers.
Addressing the participants, Senior Advocate Khurshid Alam Tanoli delivered a comprehensive lecture covering key legal and technical aspects of criminal investigations. He provided detailed guidance on the collection and preservation of evidence, proper preparation of charge-sheets (challans), and the prompt production of suspects and witnesses before the courts to facilitate effective judicial prosecution.
Investigation officers were instructed to strictly uphold merit, transparency, and statutory requirements in their work, ensuring that the insights gained from the training are directly integrated into their daily field investigations.
Organizers emphasized that the primary objectives of the seminar were to strengthen coordination between the police and the judiciary, enhance the professional capacity of investigating personnel, and accelerate the provision of justice to the public.
