Islamabad Police and the district administration have started consultations with officials of other relevant institutions following the Supreme Court’s order regarding the transfer of PTI founder Imran Khan to Al-Shifa Hospital.
According to sources, a high-level delegation will visit Al-Shifa Hospital today to review security arrangements.
Sources said authorities have decided to vacate one floor of the hospital and designate it as a sub-jail if Imran Khan is transferred there.
Around 700 security personnel are expected to be deployed for the security of the PTI founder during his stay at the hospital.
