Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting in Murree to discuss the formation of a new government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), according to sources.
The meeting will be attended by PML-N lawmakers who won seats from AJK, along with senior party leaders, sources said.
Federal leaders including Rana Sanaullah and Engineer Amir Muqam are also expected to attend the meeting, according to the sources.
The meeting is expected to focus on the political situation in AJK and the party’s strategy for forming the government following the recent election results.
Party leadership is likely to discuss potential candidates for key positions and the next steps for government formation during the meeting.
