ISLAMABAD, September 4, 2026: The federal government has appointed Major General Faisal Naseer, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), as the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
The Establishment Division of the Cabinet Secretariat issued a notification regarding his appointment, which will take effect from September 4, 2026.
According to the notification, Major General Faisal Naseer has been appointed as NACTA’s National Coordinator for a period of three years under Section 9(1) of the NACTA Act, 2013.
