Helen Flanagan has opened up about a heated confrontation with a traffic warden, admitting she fear she could end up being arrested.’
Taking to TikTok on Sunday, The Coronation Street star issued a fiery warning, declaring, ‘Hell hath no fury if you get my wrath,’ after clashing with a traffic warden who issued her a parking ticket over an innocent mistake.
Filming herself as she walked with her daughter, Helen appeared visibly frustrated as she recalled the incident during a trip to Manchester.
The altercation left her daughter worried that her mother might be taken away by the police
Speaking to the camera, she said: ‘I’ve got a courtesy car and I just parked in Manchester. I paid for my car park but because it’s a courtesy car, instead of putting an ‘O’, I put a zero.
‘I could see one of the traffic wardens trying to put a ticket on my car and I said, “no, I’ve paid for my ticket”.
‘I am due my period so like hell hath no fury if you get my wrath! Wow.’ Helen’s child was then heard tearfully exclaiming ‘I don’t want to go back,’ with the former Coronation Street star joking she may have potentially landed herself in hot water amid her clash with the civil enforcement officer.
She added: ‘She thinks I’m going to get arrested. Mummy might actually. Honestly, I was like, “you are the most horrible man I’ve ever met. Karma for you!”‘
Continuing her rant, she fumed: ‘He knew that I’d made a mistake with one letter wrong because I had a courtesy car and he still gave me a ticket… honestly, he got my absolute wrath!
‘And he deserved it! He deserved my wrath.’
Helen got back behind the wheel of her car for the first time in July last year following her six-month driving ban.
