This Pakistani Teacher is the First One to Get YouTube Gold Play Button

Imran Ali Dina has become the first Pakistani teacher to get 1 million subscribers on YouTube. He qualifies for the YouTube Gold Play button now.

A lecturer at Iqra University, Imran has teaching experience of more than 17 years. He started his channel ‘GFX Mentor’ to provide a free course on graphic designing. He took this initiative to teach graphics to the students who have the passion to learn but cannot afford expensive courses and degrees.

His channel is popular among local and foreign students alike, especially the Indians. Some people from Bangladesh have also praised his course. He mainly uses Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to teach graphics.

Imran made a few headlines in 2019 when he was awarded the YouTube Silver button for garnering 210,000 subscribers. His classes are growing in popularity every day and are deemed as one of the best courses in graphic designing.

There are many graphic designing courses on YouTube, but not many offer value creation. What makes GFX Mentor unique is Imran’s unique teaching style and his impressive credentials. Many students have landed jobs in the media industry, all thanks to the skills imparted through his channel.

Pakistan needs more teachers like Imran who are imparting knowledge and enlightening the youth. With the world moving towards a gig-based economy, the youth needs to be equipped with the right skills.
