Pakistani music star Shehzad Roy cleared the misunderstanding of Bollywood comedian Anupam Kher on twitter. The latter had proudly shared a video of a children from Hunza, Pakistan claiming that they were Indians.
In the video, a band of Hunza kids can be seen playing melodious tunes on hand-made musical instruments. Anupam was under the impression that the children were from some Indian village although Urdu script could be seen on one of the cans being used as a drum.
“Some kids in a village in India have formed their own band together. This band does not have any modern equipment. And what a tune they have chosen of the military band. Because they know that the real power lies in the heart,” Anupam Kher tweeted.

In response to Bollywood actor’s tweet, evergreen singer of Pakistan Shehzad Roy thanked him for appreciating Pakistani talent. He continued to school the ‘Pops’ of Bollywood although “humbly” and told him that the kids were actually from Pakistan.
“Sir, thanks for sharing the video I shared a few days back. You say that these talented kids are from Bharat, a humble correction; these kids are from Hunza, Pakistan,” Roy replied to Anupam’s tweet.
The mukhra singer also mentioned that he is in touch with the kids and has already sent them all the musical instruments they need.
Earlier on August 11, Shehzad Roy actually shared the same video on his social media. In the caption, he had asked his fans he could find these kids so he could provide them with quality instruments.

Meanwhile, social media users have discovered that the video is based in Pakistan which was posted on several Facebook pages six years ago. Hunza Folk who shared the video 2015 has also confirmed to Indian news websites that it is actually from Pakistan.
