Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid has opened up about her mental health by posting a few crying selfies of herself on Instagram. Her fans around the world were dismayed to see the star in tears as her photos went viral on social media.
Bella Hadid shared a total of 9 different selfies on her verified Instagram account on Tuesday. She can be seen bursting into tears in those photos while a photo also shows a drip on her hand.
Bella Hadid also shared a video of Willow Smith, daughter of American superstar Will Smith, along with her selfies in which Willow is talking about how she doesn’t feel like she’s “good enough.” Bella captioned the post with a heartfelt note in support of Willow.

“I love you and your words. It made me feel a little less alone and that is why I’d like to post this,” she wrote.
Bella Hadid, who was declared the most beautiful woman in the world not long ago, maintained that she is finding it “harder and harder” not to talk about her experiences dealing with mental illness and self-help.
The 25-year-old model described her feelings of insecurity and confusion that she had to encounter at some point in her life. In the same post, she also made it clear that social media was a hoax by stating “social media is not real, anyone who is struggling, please remember.”
The supermodel went on to say that it’s pretty much her job every day, every night to cope with anxiety and depression, and burnout has been her reality for a few years now.
“Feelings of helplessness and anxiety can go away and start again. It’s very much like a roller coaster but in the end, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel,” she said.
Shortly after the post, Bella’s Instagram was filled with reassuring and supportive comments both from her friends and fans. Bella’s elder sister and supermodel Gigi Hadid also commented on the post and expressed love for her younger sister.
