have you ever tried accepting the differences that exist in people around you? or do you judge them according to your standards of perfection? you judge their personality according to the scale of how much they are like you and how much they are not? where they resemble you, is their bright side, where they deviate, is their unfortunate dark side! how can we embrace the diversity when everyone is so full of themselves. why do you impose your personality on every other person you interact with? why do you want everyone to be just like you? are you that perfect? are you that flawless? are you that self-centred? have you ever tried asking yourself these questions before you judge someone, if they are as per your standards or not? ask yourself one of these questions before you start labelling someone next time, before you hurt someone unknowingly, before you belittle someone in the process of satisfying your ego!
accept people with their black and white and grey areas!!!! uplift one another! be the reason to make people feel confident about themselves despite the flaws they possess. everyone is beautiful in their own unique way, everyone deserves to be acknowledged for the good they carry, rather than devaluing them just because they lack that one quality you can boast about. we need to jump out of our world of prejudices. aren’t you tired enough by now, of feeding your egoistic soul? don’t you see how people around you are wearing those fake smiles and struggling to survive in this world of insensitive and unthoughtful people? are you going to be a reason someone sleeps sad this night? accept your family members, your friends, and everyone you interact with, wholeheartedly, with their flaws, with their weaknesses, acknowledge what they have rather than discouraging what they don’t. and please, for once, look into the mirror and study your reflection carefully, maybe you will get to know your own flaws, incapabilities, weaknesses, the scars that you hide, and then try using your energy in fixing them. 🙂
