Noor Mukadam Murder Case: Zahir Jaffer’s Cook Granted Bail

In a latest development in Noor Mukadam case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted bail to the cook of Jaffer family, Jameel Ahmed. Jameel is arrested on the charges of aiding the main accused, Zahir Jaffer, who brutally butchered the 27-year-old Noor Mukadam in July.

The bail was granted to the accused by the IHC Justice Amir Farooq. The accused’s lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court and defended his client. The counsel for the accused argued in the court that the FIR referred to the financier and the watchman but nothing related to the butlers.

After the hearing, the apex court ordered the release of accused Jamil Ahmed on bail of Rs 50,000. The court reserved its decision on October 21 after hearing arguments on the bail application. The court gave a brief verdict on granting bail, a detailed verdict will be issued later.

Meanwhile today, the devastated family of Noor Mukadam celebrated what would been the 28th birthday of late Noor. Her sister Sarah Mukadam shared a heartbreaking post for Noor, along with a Happy Birthday Cake cake in her Instagram post.

In her post, Sarah Mukadam congratulated her sister on her birthday and wrote that she had tried many times to write a special note for Noor but failed to do so in her life.

“I never thought I’d write a note instead of wishing you a happy birthday. I wish this time, too, I would surprise you with a sudden birthday wish in the middle of the night and hug you and tell you how much I love you,” Sarah wrote.

Sarah Mukadam also said that Noor’s desire to change the world is gaining momentum today, and she would surely see from a better place how many people are trying to bring her justice. It may be recalled that Noor Mukadam, the 27-year-old philanthropist was killed with a sharp instrument by accused Zahir Jaffer on July 20 in F-7/4 area of Islamabad.
