Neena Gupta is known to be one of the most beautiful and humane actresses of Bollywood. The Badhaai ho actress is popular in Indian commercial cinema. Her work with art filmmakers of India has got her recognition as a fine skilled actress.
Neena has released her autobiography named “Sach Kahun Toh.” The book encompasses her entire life story from her childhood to her early marriage to her struggle in Bollywood.
Recently, Neena opened her heart out about falling in love with Sir Vivian Richards and having his daughter Masaba Gupta.
“I had Masaba because I loved Richard. You can’t love somebody one day and hate them the next.” Neena said.
Neena Gupta was in a relationship with former West Indian cricketer Sir Vivian Richards during the 80s. Their affair lasted a while and together they also had an out of wedlock daughter named Masaba Gupta.
Since Richards was already married, Gupta decided to raise Masaba on her own as a single mother. Neena said she never put negative things in Masaba’s mind about her father because she respects him.

“I have respect for him and he has respect for me. And she has grown up to respect both of us, it is as simple as that.”
Neena admitted that she was looking for a family after her mother’s death. She was angry at her mother for leaving and ended up going for the wrong kind of family.
Neena explained her understanding of love and said that love was only true when between parents and children. She referred to all other kinds of love as “lust at first, then habit and finally care.”
Neena also shared her experience as a single parent and credited her parents for making it easy for her. She said she was able to go through everything because she knew no matter what she did, her parents would always support her.
“When I had Masaba, a young girl told me she was also going to have a child. I told her to think about it because her circumstances might be different than mine.”
