A week has been passed since the Aurat March and the air is still filled with mixed buzzes of “ban Aurat March” and “Men of quality do not fear equality.” Either way, the debate ascends, there is no denial of the fact that the women of this country are striving hard to make their place in every field of life. Pakistani women have proved that they are not any less competent than either men or women from the rest of the world. Suhela Mughis is one such Pakistani woman who has once again shattered the bounding chains of stereotypes and is making Pakistan proud in the UAE.
Suhela is an advisor to the Government of Abu Dhabi Office with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. She has a high educational profile decorated with multiple degrees from the best institutions in the world.
She is a Harvard graduate, has a Master’s degree from Cass Business School London, and an MBA degree from London Business School. Along with being an advisor to the UAE government, she has expertise in the Development of Policies and Strategy.
Due to her strong educational background in business, she holds prowess in Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Modeling, Portfolio, and Risk Management.
Suhela is also an ace negotiator known for her shrewd deal-making skills. Although she is settled in UAE, Sohela wants to start an initiative focused on girls’ education and women’s rights in Pakistan.
She wants to make a difference and do something for Pakistan as well. Our government should take advantage and use her much-needed skills in public policy and management. By incorporating talented and sincere people like Suhela, the jammed system of the country can be brought to life.
Suhela definitely has the strong professional blueprint that every struggling Pakistani woman dreams of. She credits her mother for all of her achievements. Despite crossing the socially-acceptable age figure of 30 for marriage, Suhela has not married yet as she believes there is more to life than marriage. Instead, she is busy setting life of her own and making everyone proud. She is a true epitome of empowered women and deserves appreciation like every hardworking woman out there.
On the social front, she wants to use her strong educational background and administarial experience to start an initiative focused on girls’ education and women’s rights in Pakistan.
