The iconic Bollywood love stories are ideal for many people. In fact, they are deemed responsible for pushing people towards utopian, impractical thinking. However, those who are a part and parcel of this world—the actors, do not share this impression. Contrary to the general perception, they are glamorous, materialistic, and whimsical.
Whenever there is a story about the breakup or divorce between a tinsel town couple, people shrug it off as ordinary or nothing new while gossiping with fervor. This perception has been recently challenged by the Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan by marrying his childhood friend Natasha Dalal.
From childhood friends to crush to finally life partners, this fairytale love story just sounds like a script from a typical Indian flick. While this story restores many people’s faith in true love, it also gives a message regarding the stereotypes attached to Bollywood actors. Usually, they are deemed as unfaithful and disloyal. Varun has known Natasha since sixth grade. They started dating in their 20s but kept it private. The duo finally tied the knot on January 24.
While many people are going gaga over this love story, the major take away is that actors are also humans. Just like we all are not perfect, they have their shortcomings too. But that should not render anyone dehumanizes them and treats them as public property.
Another interesting factor about this love story is that it started before Varun entered the showbiz world.
So, the stereotype that the glamor of this world makes people forget their relations and everything is busted right there.
