IOJK Celebrates Pakistan’s Crushing Win Over India With Firecrackers and Pakistan Zindabad Slogans

Pakistan’s historic victory in the high-intensity match against India was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK). The videos of Kashmiris celebrating India’s defeat with firecrackers are going viral on social media.

The viral clips, which spread like wildfire and irked already frustrated Indian fans, showed Kashmiris in a cheerful mood, unable to contain their joy at Pakistan’s victory. The residents of the occupied Kashmir celebrated Pakistan’s victory at a time when the occupied valley has been turned into a military barracks in the presence of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah.

After the historic victory of Pakistan, citizens of IOJK came out on the squares and waved Pakistani flags across the valley. Kashmiris set off fireworks in Srinagar and other cities of IOJK.

The people of Occupied Kashmir expressed their sentiments and happiness by chanting slogans like ‘Jive Jive Pakistan’, ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, ‘Pakistan Meri Jan’ and ‘Allah o Akbar’.

Meanwhile, during the celebrations, Indian fans attacked and beat Kashmiri students studying in different cities of India. Many Kashmiri students alleged that they were attacked by some people after the match.

After the incident, police rushed to the spot and the situation was brought under control. Students shared videos of broken chairs and injuries to their bodies in their hotel rooms.

Former Indian cricket batsman Virender Sehwag also could not contain his frustration over Kashmiri’s celebrating Pakistan and openly expressed his resentment.

“Firecrackers are banned during Diwali but Pakistan’s victory was celebrated in different parts of India with firecrackers,” Sehwag tweeted.

Earlier last night, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets after a one-sided contest in the Super 12 stage of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. In the match played in Dubai, India scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs while playing first.
