Hania Amir is one of the few celebrities in media who do not keep any complexes with regards to their appearance or looks.
She has owned her skin problems in the past. Remember that one instance when she shared her acne issues on social media, asking people to not shy away from their shortcomings?
So I have always struggled with mild acne. Always had these bumps on my forehead that JUST WOULD NOT BUDGE! I had gotten used to them. But the journey I have been on for a couple of months has been quite a painful one. pic.twitter.com/J314a4Xy1r

The ‘Parvaz Hai Junoon’ actress has once again urged people to own themselves as they are, including their appearances and skin colors.
The actor said this while sharing the incident on her Instagram when of her friends said that she needed to get a tan.
If she’s fair, it’s too fair, and if she has a dark complexion, why doesn’t she lighten it?
“I think it’s high time that we start having these conversations,” she went on, adding, “When will we stop being insecure about the way we look? We need to own ourselves, we need to own our skin tones.”
Hania also spoke up against the so-called beauty standards where girls are pressured to use two-tone darker or lighter foundation while doing make-up.
“Buhat burey beauty standards hain (These beauty standards are really wrong) and we don’t need to follow them.”
The 24-year-old actress said that it was about time to highlight the ‘wrongs’ of society to shape it up for the generations to come.
If we talk about this more and eradicate this mindset this now then the generations to come won’t have to go through what we go through.
Amir closed her monologue with some inspiring and much-needed words of wisdom: “Let’s realize that we don’t need to fit in and that the world needs to fit us as we are.”
