In an unfortunate incident, famous Tiktoker Muskan Sheikh and three others were shot to death in what police believe is a case of personal enmity.
Muskan was an avid TikToker with over 532,000 followers on her TikTok account, @muskansheikh015. She made brief videos lip-syncing songs and sharing snippets from her life.
According to City Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sarfaraz Nawaz Shaikh, all four deceased were active on social media, particularly TikTok. The officer said that two of them, Muskan and Amir, were friends.
The SSP said that all four were gunned down in Karachi’s Garden area near Anklesaria Hospital last night, police confirmed Tuesday morning, adding that unknown men opened fire at their car.
A post-mortem report conducted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) confirmed that Muskan Sheikh was fatally shot in the chest.
Karachi police said that there were some cases filed against Shah and Saddam Hussain — the third TikTok star who was shot dead last night — at different stations.
Shah had been –previously involved in gambling and had been booked for gambling and attempted murder in June 2019, whereas the latter was named in a case of drug-peddling in January 2021. Both were also booked in a case of aerial firing in January 2021.
