Not just Monica Geller, but Courteney Cox was Also Trying hard to Start a Family, And Guess What, She Never Gave Up On Her Dream

In 1994 a sitcom was aired on Television, which is as famous today as it was back then. F.R.I.E.N.D.S- was a story about 6 different people, who were knit together like a family. The show made people laugh their hearts out, and still continues to do so. Every actor in the season owned their character and literally lived the role that they were assigned.

Role of Monica Geller was played by Courteney Cox, and one can say no one could do justice to that role other than Courteney herself. She was able to do so, because Courteney was as passionate, strong, competitive and courageous off the screen, as Monica Geller was on the screen. In a nutshell, Courteney was just being herself when she was playing Monica.

Remember Monica and Chandler trying hard to start a family and have babies of their own, but couldn’t? Well something similar happened with Courteney and David. She went through the trauma of miscarriage, and not just once, but seven times. The time in the Season where Rachel was giving birth to a baby, Courteney was under the trauma of a miscarriage.

After a series of miscarriages Courteney came to know that she had a peculiar type of antibody in her body due to which she was unable to retain her pregnancy. The pain was double for her, first getting pregnant and then losing her baby.

And this was not enough, that one day she got the news that her father was diagnosed with cancer, and was left with three months to live. She was unable to turn herself into a parent, and simultaneously she had to face the tragedy of losing a parent. But amidst all this, her job remained intact, she had to make people laugh no matter what.

Courteney’s struggle to start a family says a lot about Monica’s performance. No doubt, Monica seemed so real when she and Chandler were looking for a baby they could adopt. And no doubt, it must have been difficult for Courteney to act the pain that she was going through.

Jennifer Anniston, who played the role of Rachel Green in the season, turned out to be her major support. The friendship they shared was not just confined to the television screen, rather they shared a similar bond off the screen. The people she called family became her strength, and Courteney never gave up on her dream.

She couldn’t save the life of her father, but she managed to bring another human to life. No one could have imagined that Monica Geller, who makes people laugh all across the world, is struggling so hard in real life. Today, is the day Courteney was born. Happy birthday to the queen, happy birthday to a woman who never gave up on her dreams, happy birthday to Courteney Cox.
