In a dramatic turn of events, popular actress, Saba Qamar, has called off her wedding with Azeem Khan – a blogger and entrepreneur.
The actress had taken the internet by storm when she announced her marriage to the blogger. The news received a mixed response from the netizens. While some fancied the idea and showered love and praises for the couple, others simply rejected Azeem as Qamar’s partner. It may be because Khan has had a history of problematic behavior, particularly with women, and hasn’t been in the good books of many on social media.
Following this backlash, Khan came up with a video message on social media that could be deemed as a clarification.
The backlash on social media was so strong that it made Saba Qamar reconsider her decision, and so did she. In a dramatic turn of events, Qamar announced on media that she will be breaking up with the entrepreneur, which means that she will not be getting married again.
The actress announced the news on her Instagram, where she wrote:
Hi everyone! I have a very important announcement to make, due to a lot of personal reasons I have decided to call it off with Azeem Khan.
She added with emphasis, “WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED NOW. Hope you guys will support my decision just like you all have been supporting me always, and I guess it’s never too late to realize the bitter realities!”
She also clarified a ‘very important thing’ that she had never met with Azeem Khan and was only in touch with him on the phone.

She concluded her heartbreaking post with a note:
“It’s a very hard time for me right now but as we all know ‘this too shall pass’ Insha Allah. Much love to you all!”
Azeem’s Response
To the surprise of many of us, Azeem did not give a rash reaction as expected from him, he was rather composed and calm on the turn of events. He also responded with an Instagram story, saying that as much as he was heartbroken with the development, he would not blame it on Saba, and take full responsibility for the breakdown.
The blogger also said that the actress has a beautiful soul and is one of the most amazing persons he ever came across. Azeem also wished her luck for her future endeavors.
