Women of Subcontinent Who Rule the United States Politics

US politics is witnessing a unique trajectory. Despite the rise of populism and the resurgence of racism as well as xenophobia in the past few years, many women of color managed to garner significant positions. Perhaps that shows a staunch divide in the US society while giving a hope that things can get better from here.

The women of the subcontinent might still have a long way to go in claiming the high-profile positions in their home countries.
