QUETTA: Women rescued from Fitna al-Hindustan held a press conference in Quetta and shared details of how militants allegedly influenced and recruited them for terrorist activities.
One of the affected women said her husband was associated with a terrorist organisation and was killed in 2022. She said militants later showed sympathy towards her, influenced her against Pakistan and persuaded her to work for them.
The woman said she used to send clothes, shoes and food items from Quetta to the militants. She added that she was later abducted from Quetta and given a mobile phone to maintain contact with the group.
According to the woman, militants asked her to become a suicide bomber. She said she learned to drive a vehicle for a planned suicide attack.
The rescued women said security institutions recovered them safely and handed them over to their families with dignity.
