Usman Mukhtar’s Unnamed Bully Hits Back With Harassment Accusations

Pakistani actor-director Usman Mukhtar is a charming and phenomenal face of Pakistani dramas. Not only he is winning hearts through his intense and brooding acting, he is also a well-established cinematographer. Along with his professional talents, the Sabaat actor is said to carry an extra “super-power.” Apparently, every actress that works with him ends up getting married (to someone else) right after.

A couple of days ago, actor and director Usman Mukhtar took to Instagram to share the bitter truth of his past with his fans. Usman sent waves of shock across social media when he revealed that he was harassed by a female colleague for over a year.

The Anaa actor said that he too has been a victim of harassment in the past. While he went on and on about his unpleasant experience, he refrained from naming the accused female artist.

“I have been harassed, blackmailed and bullied online for one and a half year by this woman. The harassment was reported to the FIA but this person still does not stop,” he wrote.

However, the things took interesting turn when the “unnamed” female harasser came forward herself. Mehrooz Waseem, who is a digital artist, hit back at actor Usman Mukhtar and accused him of harassment instead.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday, Mehrooz clapped back at the actor’s allegations.

“Here’s him (Usman Mukhtar) threatening me to take off a BTS photo I had on my Instagram that he never told me not to use. I used it because he never made the promotional material he promised he would,” she wrote.

To affirm her allegations, Mehrooz also shared some voice notes and a letter, which she wrote to the deputy director of the FIA’s cybercrime wing.

In the voice notes shared by the artist, Usman can be heared accusing Mehrooz of unprofessional behavior. Mehrooz also blamed Usman Mukhtar for spreading lies about her and shared screenshots in which netizens were seen defaming her.

A day after Mehrooz took a stand for herself, Usman turned to his Instagram again and urged fans not to bash the artist by sending her offensive messages.
