The Lahore High Court has rejected a request to immediately suspend the detention notifications of Uzma Khan and Nooreen Niazi, sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan.
Justice Abher Gul Khan heard the petition challenging their detention.
Advocates Mudassar Umar and Barrister Taimur appeared on behalf of Uzma Khan and Nooreen Niazi, while Farrukh Lodhi represented the Punjab government.
The court rejected the request for immediate suspension of the detention notifications and issued notices to the parties, seeking their responses.
